We only collect what we need to respond to you and provide accounting services: your name, email, phone, business details, and any documents you choose to share (for example, financial statements or tax slips). Our website contact and booking forms collect the details you enter. We use privacy-respecting website analytics that do not sell your data.
How we use it
To reply to enquiries, prepare quotes, deliver accounting and tax services, meet our professional and legal obligations (including CRA filing requirements), and — only with your consent — to send occasional updates. We do not sell your personal information.
Third parties
We use trusted providers to run our business (for example, our scheduling tool for bookings and our email provider for form messages). They process data only to provide their service to us. Your tax filings are transmitted to the Canada Revenue Agency as required to complete your work.
How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative, physical and technical safeguards, and limit access to those who need it. As CPAs we are also bound by the confidentiality standards of CPA British Columbia.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, request corrections, or withdraw consent for optional communications at any time. Email info@everstonecpa.com and we will respond promptly.
Retention
We keep records as long as needed to serve you and to meet CRA and professional requirements (generally at least six years for tax records), then dispose of them securely.
